Remember I was the data collector for the NWS ?  The guys from the National weather Service had these black vans and they didn't put government plates on them. The guy told me that when they had the government license plates, when they went up into the "thumb" region...of Timothy McVeigh / Terry McNichols fame, those inbred weirdos would shoot at them.  It's hard to believe.
