Everyone's sick of the non-stop killing. It's insane. It never ends. And now they are talking about expanding it into something unimaginable. It won't end until there's nothing left, like a wildfire.

The weather turned today. 54 and sunny. I've really dug these first days of quasi-spring since I was a kid. It's nice to open windows and go outside. Things get dirty in the winter. I got a hose, leaf blower and broom out and tried to make the garage and patio clean again. That's like a giant psycho-spiritual turning point in the year for me and all the various animals involved. By now, they're as sick of winter as I am.

Trump's enforcing the law here and in America's global relations and there's nothing wrong with that. We have been getting ripped off for decades and we all always knew it. Now the people that were profiting from that gravy train are squealing like pigs because Trump's demanding fair play. He's withholding American might and money as a way of enforcing peace. And he's taken the handcuffs off law enforcement at all levels. It's what the country needs, it's what the people want, it's what we voted for.

This is really intense. The Europeans fear that there is a built-in technology in advanced US military hardware that allows the US to render them inoperable, specifically the F-35 fighter jets they just bought and could potentially use in Ukraine.

Also, apparently the F-16's the US sold Ukraine suddenly stopped working.

"Donald Trump could deactivate supplies of American F-35 fighter jets making their way to Germany at the push of a button known as a “kill switch”, officials fear.

Germany is set to receive 35 of the world’s most advanced fighter jets for €8.3 billion (£6.9 billion) next year in a deal with the US.

"The ability of the US to flip a switch that would render them inoperable has long been the subject of speculation, but until now, it has not been proven.

But concern is mounting that Mr Trump might employ the same drastic action to enforce his political objectives on Ukraine.

On Saturday, reports surfaced that US-supplied F-16s had stopped working in Ukraine.

Though this was because of the suspension of critical support for radar systems rather than them being “switched off”, Joachim Schranzhofer, the head of communications at Hensoldt, the German arms company, told Germany’s Bild newspaper the “kill switch in the F-35 is more than just a rumour”.

So Trump possibly could shut down a war. He's the only guy talking about peace and he's the "nazi".

Oh wow. It's going to be sunny and 60 tomorrow. I have a squeegee on a long pole. Washing all the windows inside and out makes this seem like a much nicer house.

I'm not doing this. Screw that.

"After many delays during the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government set the REAL ID deadline for May 7, 2025.

While you aren't required to convert your license or ID to a REAL ID, you will need to present a REAL ID document when you board a domestic flight in the U.S., enter a military base or nuclear power plant or visit certain federal buildings."

My license says right on it, "not for federal real id act purposes".    Now what? We need travel documents to go from state to state?

The way you speak of muslims as a whole is disproportionate to your origins. That’s all. When a symptom is disproportionate to the history, there’s a different issue that hasn’t been disclosed.
You have said this before. I despise hatred disguised a religion.

When I was a little kid, we said the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag  with our hand over our heart and then we sang My Country 'Tis of Thee  every morning.  I don't know if they still do that in public schools but they should. And if anyone objects or refused, they should be tased, handcuffed and dragged away for re-education.  Also, in Catholic school, we had to say the 'Our Father' along with the other stuff. They should force kids to do that too.

"The United States condemns the radical Islamist terrorists, including foreign jihadis, that murdered people in western Syria in recent days. The United States stands with Syria’s religious and ethnic minorities, including its Christian, Druze, Alawite, and Kurdish communities, and offers its condolences to the victims and their families. Syria’s interim authorities must hold the perpetrators of these massacres against Syria’s minority communities accountable."

We had to say the Lord’s Prayer and sing Oh Canada and God Save the Queen every day before class could begin.

I don’t feel right today. Every Spring forward messes me up for a month. And it’s windy as hell. I hate wind more than the extreme cold.

I just realized it is air pressure coming down from the mountains. It happens with some Chinooks too. It feels like gravity has increased and you are being pushed down from the top of your head. If any of you have ever been exposed to a gas leak, that is what it feels like.
