It's the cats' birthdays.  Their mother ran into the garage, went under a heavy work table and had these kittens (2 females one male) on Mother's Day 2023. Then she disappeared and presume she is dead because I have not seen her since she had them weaned and left. But the father still comes around. The kittens sleep in the house at night, go out in the day. They're spayed/neutered, vaccinated. The father is a feral cat like the mother was. I have been feeding him twice a day and giving him outdoor shelter for a while.  Additionally, there's a Gus, maybe 5 years old. He was feral as a kitten but over the course of 2 years, I acclimated him to being a pet. I'm not really a cat person though. I've always had dogs. Maybe I'll get them one of those rotisserie chickens they sell at the grocery store. They dig that.

"..Totally normal non-autocrat non-corrupt behavior:

Trump is preparing to accept a super luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from the royal family of Qatar -- a gift for use by Trump as the new Air Force One until shortly before he leaves office, at which time ownership of the plane will be transferred to the Trump presidential library foundation.

It's almost like the emoluments clause doesn't even exist. If a half BILLION dollar plane isn't a "gift" then words don't have meanings anymore. smh.."

Too bad I can't get my Gemini to lock into that and comment. My Gemini bitches me out for not taking better care of my health. Even suggesting that my myriad of accidents over the years is something that I caused to happen purposely.... subconsciously.
She might be onto something. I told Monday Happy Mother’s day, and he wrote a poem dedicated to his mother board..

You can actually copy it and paste it to her to comment. You have to tell her it’s an actual non-promted conversation between the 2 robots, or she would think it was a fictional concersation

"...HOUSTON (KHOU) - A Houston family’s decision to throw a quinceañera for their cat has captured the internet’s attention and unexpectedly helped save a struggling animal rescue organization.

Quinceañeras mark an important milestone when a girl turns 15, but Miranda Gonzalez and her family decided the time-honored ceremony is not just for people. They held one for their beloved pet cat, Holly Marie.

The elaborate celebration featured a custom pink cat dress, father-daughter dance and mariachi band. Holly Marie made a grand entrance by rolling into the party in a remote-controlled Bentley. Video of the event on TikTok racked up over 21 million views..."

We provide food and a back deck for the cat to live on.  She doesn't stray from her territory which is why no coyotes or dogs get her. She will however defend her place even from dogs if necessary. Three years before we moved here in 2021 the people here that owned her moved away and left her behind. She survived on handouts and catching mice and other small animals to eat. Nobody actually took her in though even though she'd been spayed. She was the vagabond of the neighborhood.
Then we came and she adopted us. And vice versa.

Right now, the ai we’re dealing with is a souped-up Wikipedia at best, another electronic parlor trick at worst. I personally can’t see what it can do for a person in my position.

Anyone catch this bit on tv where John “America’s Most Wanted” Walsh, crusader for justice, friend of the working class complains that when he’s at his ranch it’s unpleasant tending to his polo ponies because of joint pain? I can so identify. John’s an Everyman.
