It just occurred to me that planting 300 plants into the ground is probably a full day of in-the-sun chain-gang-like labor that I have to follow through on lest my entire existence be rendered pointless.

...Se habla Espanol and so forth.

They made the back door the front door. Hypocritical scum bags.
I actually saw photos of the page in the journal from Ellis Island where my grandfather signed as a young man 100 years ago. Also, the adjacent greaseball names in the journal were all people I recognized from childhood as ad hoc "cousins" that apparently came over on the same banana boat.  I can image the kind of job it was for the surly Irish Customs agents with handlebar mustaches that had to deal with the world's 'huddled masses yearning to be free'.

"30 years ago today on May 17, 1995, Army veteran Shawn Nelson managed to steal an M60A3 tank and go on a 6 mile rampage through San Diego, CA.

Nelson was a local celebrity before the incident.

He was known for mowing his lawn in the middle of the night and also dug a 20 foot pit in his backyard looking for gold.

On the evening of May 17, 1995, Nelson drove his truck and parked at the local California Army National Guard armory.

He then started breaking locks on the tanks before hopping inside the 60 ton tank.

For the next 30 minutes, Nelson damaged bridges, fire hydrants, traffic lights, destroyed 40 cars, and left 5100 households with no electricity.

Not a single person was injured.

After becoming stuck, San Diego police climbed on top the tank, opened the hatch and shot and killed Nelson."

I would have hired him to do plumbing. He seems mechanically inclined.

Luden's
Smith Brothers
Pine Bros.

When I was a kid, wild cherry cough drops were sold as candy because that's all they are.

I don't know why he did not lock the hatch.

The cops probably didn't know if he had ammunition or not. That would have really made it worth doing.

I bought this little grill several years ago. I haven't used it much but it's all I need. I can keep it in the garage so it's clean. It runs on a cylinder like  for a little soldering torch.

If I'm going to brave a blizzard, I'd rather not be up north....
Come on, blizzard’s fun.

Columbo’s about class struggle.
Apparently he only investigated rich people who were murderers. No drive-bys.
