I’m in my wife’s car so I look like a boss. As I was driving in, I slowed down where they’re roughing, rolled down the window and yelled “La Migra ! “ and watched them scatter like cockroaches. I thought Trump put an embargo on Mexicans.

Poor John Denver ski'd into a tree. Oh wait...That was Sonny Bono. I always get those two mixed up because one is short and Italian and the other is completely different. Poor Sonny.  John Denver hang glided into the side of a mountain.  They're both a couple of saps if you ask me. Sonny must be from Michigan. I was friends with his cousin Aldo.

Working with this old dago is nuts. Now I'm doing it - staircases, railings, banisters  all for stain. The phrase "for stain" makes a finish carpenter's blood run cold; means you actually have to do your job. By Christmas I'm going to be a hot asset to all of these dago builders that are speed-building subdivisions in farm country up here. Now they all know me.

Lol. No painters putty or caulk for those jobs. I put in a stair railing in my next door neighbor's house back north. Straight cuts. Nothing fancy.

The lady across the street told the people that live a couple of houses down from me that they needed to start taking care of their dog. The poor dog had wound its chain around the tree in the sun.... Had no water and no food for a couple of days... So she went over and fed the dog and gave it some water. So then the people all came out and cursed her out and screamed at her and told her they were going to call the cops on her.. she said go ahead... I'll just wait here... After their kids cursed her out with every foul name you can think of they went back inside and never did call the cops...
