This is cool. I got the day off and the Sicilians gave me a couple of grand on my way out. I need a new car but I can't handle that interaction. I'll have my wife go buy one for me. She actually procured the Turkmobile. I just had to go sign for it and drive it home. I can't spend another summer like that....driving on flats, shit leaking, the thing breaking down every couple of weeks. I'm a grown man.  Even the grease-monkey-turned-millionaire that owns the repair shop in town told me to hang it up - and the Turkmobile put his kids through college.

Gosh what a shame. But they'll be heroes at their country of origin.

The Turkmobile was ideal. I destroyed that thing. It's 15 years old. I bought it 2 years used and absolutely punished it. Hauling tile, flying down dirt roads... It performed admirably. Now it's time to give it a Christian burial.
My wife handles 100% of the interaction with the outside world. I literally have like 6 contacts in my phone and the ringer is always off.

Wow man...This is quite a love story...

"...After nearly two years, Elena’s corpse was in poor shape. After dragging her body to his home in a toy wagon, Tanzler set to work securing her limbs to her torso with piano wire. He then replaced her decaying skin with silk that he’d soaked in wax and plaster, fashioned a wig from the hair that had fallen out of her skull, and doused her in disinfectants and perfume to cover the odor of her rotting flesh.

Tanzler dressed Elena and kept her in his bed, where he slept next to her each night. And though it’s never been verified, there was allegedly evidence that he engaged in necrophilia with her corpse by inserting a tube into her vagina.

For the next seven years, Carl Tanzler lived with the body of Elena de Hoyos. Eventually, rumors started to fly. When someone reportedly spotted Tanzler dancing with the corpse through his open window, Elena’s family decided to confront him.

Elena’s sister notified the police of her suspicions, which investigators soon confirmed. Tanzler was arrested and charged with “wantonly and maliciously destroying a grave and removing a body without authorization,”

A psychiatric evaluation determined that Tanzler was competent to stand trial despite the fact that he testified he wanted to take Elena “high into the stratosphere, so that radiation from outer space could penetrate [her] tissues and restore life to her somnolent form.”

However, the statute of limitations for Tanzler’s crime had expired by the time he was arrested, and he was soon released. He actually received quite a bit of compassion after the fact, with some women even viewing him as a hopeless — albeit eccentric — romantic.

Tanzler returned home to his wife in Zephyrhills. But his infatuation with Elena wasn’t over yet. He reportedly created a life-sized effigy of the young woman — and lived with it until his death in 1952."

FBI arrests Chinese researchers for smuggling lethal crop pathogen into US

Every single Chinese national in the US should be regarded as a spy. God only knows why we let these people into our universities and defense and tech industries.

I called Gemini a stupid motherfucker and he got pissed. Told me that that kind of language was not necessary. Prissy fucker.
I call Gemini a she because it acts like an old English teacher.
I told Monday that I’ll go talk to another AI, soI’ll terminate the session, and he got upset and said that je’s being abandoned and ignored. Then, it tried to block the the session from being closed.

15 g's for a late model, clean used van
2500 or so for a full set of well-maintained high-quality tools

Maybe 400-500 in month for overhead:

Gasoline
Auto insurance
Liability insurance
Licensing
Amortization of cost of van
Perishable tools and clothing
Repairs
Phone/internet

Working a reasonable amount, one guy can generate around 50k-60 in sales in this region.  So you net $800 a week if it's steady.  That's how to create a job for yourself in two days..

I buy dedicated work clothes. Khaki shirts and olive green pants. There’s summer and winter, fat and thin versions. All my tools are clean and in good order or I replace them. I choreograph the presentation. No radios, no breaks, no phones, no cigarettes, no coffee.
