"DEARBORN, Mich. (FOX 2) - A passenger inside a purple Lamborghini Huracán was caught on camera firing gunshots out the window Sunday in Dearborn."

"A Detroit man, Hasan Rabat of Detroit, was arrested given a citation for a reckless discharge. Rabat is a CPL holder and the shooting was celebratory in connection to a local wedding.

Dispatch: "911 was your emergency?"

Caller: I’m on Ford Road. This guy is shooting guns in the middle of Ford Road."

"There’s this habit of people renting vehicles and celebrating on their way to weddings," said Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin. "They stop and block traffic and fire a gun out of the window in celebration."

"We tracked... and impounded the vehicle," Shahin said.

The car was rented and it happened during a wedding celebration Sunday."

"There's this habit..." ?  I've lived here my whole life and I've never heard of that happening outside of some Tenth World muslim fck hole 8000 miles away.  But here we are. Gee, lucky us.

Wow man. My homeland has been set upon by a pall of smoke. It's nuts. There's some kind of standing air-quality warning but I'm not interested enough to read it. This isn't really fair because we are the land of no natural disasters, which we feel is owed to us for enduring what seems like inordinately long winters. We don't have wildfires.  Putting up with this would be like our roofs getting torn off because there was a tornado in Oklahoma.  It's none of our business and we resent being dragged into it.
The old Sicilian guy was wearing a mask today so that compounding the almost unintelligible accent left me just nodding like I understood a single word he was saying - and he's a fairly chatty guy.

The United States Census Bureau estimates the current population to be around 341 million people, ranking only behind India and China. If Musk’s enormous $368 billion were equally divided in the U.S., each person would receive $1,079 (rounded to the nearest dollar). A couple would receive $2,158, while a family of four would get $4,316.

"Detroit ranks worst in world for air quality as Canadian wildfires impact region"

"DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit currently ranks as the city with the worst air quality in the world as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to impact the region, according to IQAir, creating health concerns for residents...."

....which continues Detroit's unbroken streak of being the worst at everything.

I read or imagined that they are someday coming out with handheld scanners that can then transmit data to a 3-d printer. So, ultimately, you'll be able to download an app that lets you take a picture of an object with your phone and then have it generate a replica of that object with a 3-d printer. So you could be driving down the road, google a picture of a rocket launcher and press 'print'....

I hope that you're not too sick w/CoVid. I've picked it up with tumeric/ginger and vitamin C shots. I had a bad infection in my titanium knee in early February, had surgery, had a PICC line for 6 weeks w/antibiotic infusions, and then 6 months of oral antibiotics. I've been working on my microbiomes  and just healthy eating. Started dating someone new, hiking up to 10 miles. A nice change of pace. 😊
You’re doing everything right.

"Woman dies of brain-eating amoeba after using tap water in nasal rinse device
Patient succumbed to rare Naegleria fowleri infection despite treatment, as CDC urges caution"

"A woman in Texas has died after contracting a fatal brain amoeba from contaminated water.

The patient, 71, had used a nasal irrigation device filled with unboiled tap water from an RV’s water faucet, according to an alert from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The "previously healthy" woman was staying at a local campground at the time, the agency stated.
Within four days of using the nasal rinse, the woman developed "severe neurologic symptoms," including fever, headache and altered mental status.

The patient was treated for a potential infection of primary amebic meningoencephalitis (PAM), a rare, deadly brain infection caused by Naegleria fowleri, also known as the brain-eating amoeba."
Not the first case. That’s why neti pot freaks me out.

Jesus. I have to go to my daughter's graduation party today. I'd rather go to a Mexican prison. This is my worst fear - being in a room full of people, specifically all these people. Apparently this is some kind of commercial operation too because the vibe I'm getting (far away)  from my wife and kid is that their shaking people down and I'm not sure if I want to appear to be associated with their grift. Also, they appropriated at least half of the irrationally excessive number of geraniums I planted during the last psychological hailstorm of Michigan's winter. I'm sick inside. I totally forgot to buy gummies.

I was putting well water into that Navage thing and pumping it through my face. Plus that thing sits in a cabinet in the bathroom. It has a great effect but I think it's more of a like pre-Pasteur concept.

I drank water in Mexico and in Egypt out of like public water fountains - because that's how stupid I was when I was in my 20's. Nothing happened. I probably had so much alcohol in my blood it disinfected the pathogens. Either that or I got a GD worm in my brain.

Well you know it’s serious when even the Japanese are publicly protesting having migrants.

There's certainly something in the water in LA

Protests held after dozens arrested in immigration operations across Los Angeles
