My grandfather was a postal worker. He wasn't well off but not poor either.
I certainly did.
Kids have no skills today. College has become largely a false promise in the US. It's a hundred grand for a four year degree and it doesn't really qualify you for anything if you have no job experience. And realistically, kids may not even be trying anymore. Who can blame them? Houses, cars, rent, college....all prohibitively expensive now. There's chaos in the streets, healthcare is a luxury...
I guess you're too old to beat people up now. I had to give up fist fighting when my body refused to do what I wanted it to do. I can still make it to the bathroom by myself though. That's something. I know some people who can't.
My generation - born in the 60's may be the last generation that grows up in America as it was at its shining best. We may never be able to fully recover from the massive amount of damage that the Obama/Biden gang did to our nation in a very short period of time - a mirror of what similarly hate mongering desperadoes in Western Europe have done to their people in rapid fashion.
Getting old’s a relief. As time passes, one by one I realize the things that I stressed out about for years actually don’t really matter and what does matter I already got.
I mellowed out like a fine wine. For a long time now.
So you're not jumping 25 year olds in bars. Got it.
