Milan prosecutors investigate alleged ‘sniper tourism’ during Bosnian war
Groups from Italy and elsewhere alleged to have paid Serb soldiers to shoot Sarajevo residents during siege


"Prosecutors in Milan have opened an investigation into Italians who allegedly paid members of the Bosnian Serb army for trips to Sarajevo so that they could kill citizens during the four-year siege of the city in the 1990s.

More than 10,000 people were killed in Sarajevo by constant shelling and sniper fire between 1992 and 1996 in what was the longest siege in modern history, after Bosnia and Herzegovina declared independence from Yugoslavia.

The snipers were perhaps the most feared element of life under siege in Sarajevo because they would pick off people on the streets, including children, at random, as if it was a video game or a safari.

Groups of Italians and other nationalities, so-called “sniper tourists”, are alleged to have participated in the massacre after paying large sums of money to soldiers belonging to the army of Radovan Karadžić, the former Bosnian Serb leader who in 2016 was found guilty of genocide and other crimes against humanity, to be transported to the hills surrounding Sarajevo so that they could shoot at the population for pleasure...."

There are websites, (previously printed tables) the give the exact coordinates of any given celestial body from any given location on the planet in terms of compass direction and angular altitude ground being 0 straight up being 90 degrees. If I know where Canada is, which is the other side of Lake St. Clair, that’s East. The lake is always east and I have that sense of direction imprinted in my brain so I know instinctively where east is, no matter where I am. Sun rises in Canada, sets in Chicago; always has, always will. Based on that, you can find any point in the sky without a GD ‘app’.

The Chinks have made fairly high end ‘astronomy’ available to the Everyman. I’ll give them that. I love this Chinese shit and it’s dirt cheap. That must enrage those old men that spent decades learning how to produce images that any school kid can do in minutes now. It’s a combination of CNC machining, AI, and ultra cheap, ultra high resolution digital camera technology. It’d be nice if we could be allies with China but they can’t be trusted and they breed like bacteria.

I liked the business here that was going on during the pandemic. We got decent medical coverage through the state, a food card, etc. I was into that because it made my life ten times easier. I worked through that shit. Wearing some dipshit dust mask and hand sanitizer didn’t do Fck-all. It was a dice roll. I got it and it was like a cold. Other people got it and ended up in intensive care. You can’t defend against a virus. Lamb’s blood on your door maybe.
