"I was benevolent and good; misery made me a fiend. Make me happy, and I again shall be virtuous"

That's what Viktor Frankenstein said and then he drank his reefer congee.....

I don't HAVE to do anything. I am Joe The Boss of my own body.

You palliative and hospice are different from ours.
hospice is for people who are dying…. Palliative care is for people who need help taking care of themselves….

Yeah. I don't feel anything. I need more....like that shit that Robin Williams was giving  Robert Deniro in that movie where all the retards come to life in the mental hospital, which is probably the only Robin Williams movie that is watchable because it isn't his usual, non-stop annoying schtick ala Jerry Lewis or Martin Short (both of whom are destined for Satan's Lake of Fire).... According to the AI:

"A quarter ounce of weed (approximately 7 grams) is a large amount of plant material to consume at once, which could lead to digestive discomfort. If the cannabis has been heated (decarboxylated), consuming that quantity could result in an extremely intense and prolonged high, leading to negative effects such as severe anxiety, paranoia, nausea, vomiting, a fast heart rate, and even temporary psychotic symptoms, potentially requiring medical attention...."

Bullets !  That's exactly the answer I was looking for. Let me mark the time here and prepare for euphoria to settle in like a prairie mist.

"temporary psychotic symptoms".... that's my brand !

We slept through Christmas. On top of the never ending head cold virus we have had for 6 weeks we got a type of stomach flu.

Necessity is the Mother of Invention...or Innovation (depending on what your definition of the word 'is' is).

Wow man. That's as sick as I've ever been. If I was 10 or 15 years older, that would have killed me. I almost went to a clinic a couple nights ago but then I started feeling better. Most distressing has been the absolutely unconscionable amount of marijuana I have not smoked over the past week because of the horrific scourge with which I have been afflicted. In an effort to recover from that, I have put a half ounce of reefer in the oven at 200 degrees to "decarboxylize" it so I can eat it.

I got sick Christmas Eve night and slept until yesterday. So I gave my wife and kid their presents and finally ate. On the upside, I saved a lot of money by not eating or smoking pot for several days. I don't know what's going on outside. It's been nuts with the weather...just one blizzard after the next. So now I have to figure out how to eat all this weed and air out the house before my wife gets home.

Sorry to hear you were sick. Enjoy your daughter's Winter break - you obviously did something amazing! What a great kid!

I'm going into palliative care in a few days.

What? End of life stuff?

Wow man. Let me begin with the term 'In retrospect..."   As in, second guessing certain decisions in my very recent past...for example, eating a quarter ounce of weed. Perhaps that wasn't my best thinking.

How long do you have to be there or is it up in the air?

Jesus. She's majoring in "English". I'm totally apart from all of it though. It's like I live in a private universe, it's all happening around me, I'm paying for it somehow and I have zero control. And that's why tonight I ate a quarter ounce of reefer and feel zero remorse.

I gave my wife an iphone 16 (I think). I gave my daughter a telescope.

I can't believe I pulled this year off. It was like falling out of a tree. Now I'm driving around in a GD Karen van and I have a bunch of cats...Oh how the mighty have fallen.

"...The Unites States Postal Service is making new changes in 2026, including the postmark process — which could cost you late fees and penalties for anyone mailing time-sensitive documents such as tax returns or bill payments. Here's what to know.

A USPS postmark is an official mark that shows where and when mail was accepted by the Postal Service. It used to include the date when it was dropped it in a mailbox or at the post office counter. However, the new rule will reflect the postmark with the date your envelope is first processed by an automated USPS sorting machine, potentially days after it was dropped off — not the actual drop-off date.

But that's not all; rising shipping rates and post office modernization is also on the way for the new year..."
Our mailman shovelled our sidewalk for us. There are almost no children/ teens in my neighbourhood. I refuse to sign a yard work contract. You have to pay even if it never snows. I have to call my niece. I would rather pay her boys.

Welcome to parenthood! You can not control your children, they may come through you but they are not yours. I think that's Khalil Gibran, The Prophet thing.
