I thought you died.
I died psychologically and emotionally. I just didn't have the reserves to last through this winter. It was endless. Anyhow, I was reborn. You may recall that I was formerly know as The Backsplash King (deposed). I am seeking to regain my throne from whatever usurpers are out there. And now that the weather is at least survivable for primates, I have emerged from hibernation.

I have to saw this **** up and stick it to walls in three rooms of a new house near where I live. The drive makes the job and this one is like being on vacation - 20 minutes of no-traffic there through serene Michigan countryside and 20 minutes back. Also, when I'm doing carpentry, I'm working for cheap-ass, cut-throat contractors but when I'm doing tile, I'm working for people that have no clue how easy it is for me. That affects my...um....pricing solutions. I get paid like a brain surgeon. After all, I am an authentic Roman.

I never really knew how to pronounce the word "wainscot" so I avoid saying it. Is the 'o' short or long?  It's anyone's guess.

No. It’s more that I’m borderline incoherent.

Northern states are supposed to be able to see the aurora tonight. Of course, it’s been cloudy here since I was in high school so it’s not relevant.

"To Joseph Stalin:

“Stop sending people to kill me. We’ve already captured five of them, one of them with a bomb and another with a rifle… If you don’t stop sending killers, I’ll send one to Moscow, and I won’t have to send a second.”

I don't know how things went down south but the winter here was the worst we've had in a long time. It was like being in jail.

It's pretty telling that the lunatic fringe keeps trying to whack Trump - and failing. They're crazed and desperate.

They want to build one of those "data centers" right near my house. They're springing up everywhere. The power copany here jacked everyone's rates and started replacing all of the regular "telephone" poles with this giant steel things that look like GD East Berlin. They lined them up on the road I live on - which is/was legendarily beautiful. Fortunately they didn't get my stretch of road but they destroyed the neighborhood. Now they'll build a bunch of McMansions, gangs of Arabs, Indians and Albanians will move in. The wives will drive leased Mercedes SUVs, the good for nothing entitled punk sons will have a BMWs. All the animals in my yard will be chased away...my very way of life is slipping away...like the Injuns.
