I chopped off the tip of my finger when I was 14. It really fucking hurt! My mom put it in a bowl of ice and took me to St Joseph's Hospital where a disgusted black doctor sewed it back on.
     It was numb for 55 years then one day I woke up and the feeling had come back in it. Weird...

Took awhile for the thumb to map the brain. New pathway you lucky duck! I think mine are driving into the ditch lol!
