The near misses and collisions in US aircraft in the past six weeks is NOT unusual. It is being presented in a dishonest way by the mainstream media specifically to characterize it as an emergency situation created by Federal layoffs...it isn't.

".....In 2023, six near-miss incidents occurred in just the first two months, a pace exceeding the prior five-year average. A New York Times investigation in August 2023 reported 46 close calls in July 2023 alone, suggesting a spike in frequency. Runway incursions have also risen, with 31 incursions per million takeoffs and landings in 2023, compared to a decade-high of 35 in 2017-2018 and a low of 28 in 2020. Against this backdrop, the past six weeks of 2025 saw one fatal collision and at least one midair near miss, alongside a few ground incidents, totaling roughly four to five notable events depending on classification."
