This is how the digital telescope is controlled. There is no eyepiece. The image is on the ipad. It's wireless. So I could be inside and the telescope is outside. I don't know if I like that. It would be like Mark 3D printing trophy fish. It's kind of a hollow victory. Now everything is an "app".

You don't have to know anything. There's no polar alignment. You just turn it on, it look at the sky and finds out where it is then you click goto [Moon] and the thing finds the Moon, centers it, auto focuses, keeps it centered and optimizes the images automatically. It did good on the eclipse. It sucks on planets, excels on deep sky. I don't know how it can with a 50mm (2") lens.
