There aren't many trade schools around. My eldest grandson went to an electrician school. He is doing very well now. He has always had an interest in electricity. He went to college for a short while but knew he was wasting his time.

Another grandson working a HAVAC job is making good money and he loves it.

We have trade schools here but for decades everyone pushed collage on kids. 

From my experience rebuilding the house, they also need to teach some business along with the trade. I have some skilled trades folks who do good work but not a one of them seems to know how to be a boss and run a business.
