I love shit like that. I have a couple of those egg beater drills that you hand crank. The thing about those old tools is they were made before they had the technology to mass-produce cheap shit.  They're all like cast iron, machined, etc

I did have an electric drill. A few of them. Never had an egg beater,  Had to keep the chuck key strapped to the cord.
