My dad dealt with the Teamsters for a long time - Jimmy Hoffa’s local no less. He made it so the contract expired in January and if they went on strike, he went to Florida. Eventually, the guys that worked there for years and were treated like family realized how petty and disgraceful the ideology of the gangster union was,…shaking them down, switching our trash haulers…so they voted the union out. Good people don’t need to get mixed up with racketeers.
