Realistically, if you wanted to consider psychology or human evolution, what can be said is this.... We do not evolve fast enough to develop appropriate responses to the changes technology is producing in human societies. It's the same dynamic at play as with blacks failing to adapt in developed nations ....the giving machine guns to monkeys perspective... The nature of too large a percentage of the human race is too dark and antisocial to be trusted with the power all of these gadgets give them. Do we really want ISIS-like groups or drug cartels to have access to cheap drones and ai? Does any of this shit really make our lives better?
