Does anyone else remember when these came out? State of the art and right up there with the pens that had red, blue and black ink. I loved that stuff.

Lol! Hell, I remember when the electric typewriter came out.

We had a Smithon or some name along that line . It was heavy duty steel and got the job done.

I am sure I have mentioned that I only passed HS typing class, with a D, on account of my teacher liking me and knowing that I was trying.

I still can only type two fingered but I have gotten quick at it.

Anybody but me sick of these overly performative sign language interpreters living their moments of glory?

I probably wouldn't have done well. I didn't take a business course. You had to learn shorthand among other things.

I rather doubt that but russian dissidents taught us how much hell can be raised with just the flick of a Bic lighter. No need for fancy bombs.

Here lately most all of the actual terrorism has been trump supporters. Is this one also?

I type with all my fingers, but I’ve never taken a typing class, so it’s pretty random. I can right fast though. There is some dose of insanity in it too.

How old is too old to be shoveling snow?

"The American Journal of Emergency Medicine reports that about 200,000 adults went to emergency rooms for snow shoveling accidents from 1990 to 2006. There were more than 1,600 deaths."

"Anyone older than 45 should be cautious, according to an American Heart Association spokesperson. People with conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure or high cholesterol should also be careful, along with people who smoke, are very inactive, are obese or are sedentary.

If you fall into these categories, you might consider hiring someone else to do the job."

So did I. I just don't do it anymore. It always melts eventually.
