We live in a high developed and supposedly enlightened society. But the fact is, really, that most of the human population lives in near paleolithic states. Sub-Saharan African was absolutely stone age until Europeans colonized. Nothing had been invented there beyond stone tools and mud huts...really.  The effects of giving them machine guns and rocket launchers is self explanatory. Without the internet, 90% of the world conflicts in this Century (since 2001) would NOT have happened. Radicals, perverts, criminal gangs and scam artists, would be revolutionaries, spies, fraudsters and terrorists....have made better use of the technology than any of us.

Kids today type with there thumbs and don't read or write anything longer than 3 sentences. They can't spell or solve math problems without a phone in their hands. In fact, their whole social life would collapse without a phone. And, of course, when I say "phone", I mean "device" but I'm not going to update my lexicon to accommodate either the woke bullshit or text slang.

That os true. J am looking for them to integrate technology that will be able to recognize AI generated materials.

They're going to have to or else that every single school writing assignment will have to be assumed to be fraudulent.  I don't know what things were like when you were in school but when I had to write a 'research paper' I had to go to a library...a microfilm repository, periodicals catalog, etc.  And then you had to write and rewrite it half a dozen times. It took work.
