Being able to download, store and transfer the entire contents of a human brain will be achievable. So they could transfer our consciousness into a humanoid machine and we could then live indefinitely.

Realistically, Greenland would be way better off with us. So would Canada.  But between the two, I think he might actually be serious about annexing Greenland. It's essential that the US controls the Arctic.

Moscow is just over the hill from there.

This idea that Canada can do anything to the electricity supply or its cost in Michigan is pure fantasy.  But what isn't fantasy, and what  is confirmed by Mr. Ford's desperation, is that Michigan, under the direction of the Administration could shut down half of Ontario's economy with the stroke of a pen. This is a one-sided affair. It isn't even making the news here because no one cares. Their auto plants go idle, the war is over.

I have maybe six "contacts" in my phone. Two of them are my wife and kid, one is the guy that sends me work.  I have the ringer muted. I actually talk on the phone maybe 5 or 6 times a year.
I have a shtload of contacts, even the limo service in Chicago.

Canada does not have the right to open their borders to jihadists because a good portion of the trash that washes up in there has the US as a final destination. The whole point of this exercise is to make Canada assemble a government that has that modicum of common sense and decency required to screen the type of "immigrants" swarming our continent. Justin Trudeau is a spoiled little sissy devoid of qualification to bear such responsibility.
But, you know, "fentanyl"...and all that.

Less than 1% of the electricity used in Michigan comes from Canada. It means nothing. Doug Ford is doing what all politicians do....keeping his giant red head in front of cameras.  Truth is not a relevant factor in the performance. His brother was much jollier.

"In 2023, 77% of Canada’s exports ($482 billion) went to the U.S., while only 17% of U.S. exports ($441 billion) went to Canada.
The U.S. can more easily absorb the loss of Canadian imports by diversifying or boosting domestic production, whereas Canada’s economy, heavily reliant on U.S. markets, would face immediate strain."

It's not even close. That's why the Canadian leadership is so somber and panicked and no one here really cares.  For us, it's just something talked about on the cable news channels.

The high school here banned phones and the students have complied gracefully. I bet that makes life easier for the teachers.  Try that in Detroit and they'd assault the teachers. Two things they never go to school without down there are their stolen phones and their "9's".  Not that they're learning anything anyhow.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on “Electricity” coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th. Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada. If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada. Those cars can easily be made in the USA! Also, Canada pays very little for National Security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. WHY??? This cannot continue. The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State. This would make all Tariffs, and everything else, totally disappear. Canadians’ taxes will be very substantially reduced, they will be more secure, militarily and otherwise, than ever before, there would no longer be a Northern Border problem, and the greatest and most powerful nation in the World will be bigger, better and stronger than ever — And Canada will be a big part of that. The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear, and we will have the safest and most beautiful Nation anywhere in the World — And your brilliant anthem, “O Canada,” will continue to play, but now representing a GREAT and POWERFUL STATE within the greatest Nation that the World has ever seen!

"MIKE JOHNSON: “Let me tell you something. I went and faced down the angry mob at Columbia at the height of that stuff ... if you are on a student visa and you're an aspiring young terrorist who wants to prey upon your Jewish classmates, you're going home. We're gonna arrest your -- tail, and we're gonna send you home where you belong....and this is just getting started."

The Jewish students of these universities should file a class action lawsuit against these institutions. They are prevented from attending classes that they paid for by trash that shouldn't be there in the first place.

That's the concept with Mickey 17, new movie out last weekend. Download your memory and basically 3D print your body. I saw it on Saturday.
