I'm into manual alt-az mounts, no electronics. I know how to find anything that is worth seeing from the ground through an eyepiece with your eyes...basically the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Andromeda, the Orion Nebula Pleiades....the rest is just scanning with a wide field, which is awesome. With the big wide angle lenses it's like being in a spaceship. Hooray for legal reefer.
I have an equatorial mount but going through that hassle takes the fun out of it and unless you're doing long-exposure photos, there's no need for it. I'm hooked on SVBONY. They took the sting out of losing Orion and Meade all of the sudden. The prices are unreal. I'm buying shit just because they're selling it.

I bought a 90 mm achromatic refractor from SVBONY and I love it. It's built like a tank and has a really wide field of view, 2" focuser. It's great. I also have a classic 5" Celestron C5 and a Meade 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain.  The 8" is hard to move on the tripod so I mostly use the C5. It's a perfect size, great image.

They put a stent in my heart. Now I have to carry this little health card around with me that tells everybody I have a stent in my heart for some reason. I also have a shunt in my heart. More specifically in my upper aorta. They went in through my wrist. Which now has gigantic bruises on it. I spent the night in the hospital. Right now I just don't have a lot of energy. On top of that I had to do another sleep study last night. They hooked about 900 wires to me  Including on my head..... leaving a horrible goop in my hair.... Homegirl picked me up at the hellhole at 5:  30 am this morning... It was 33 fucking degrees... Then we  spent the morning picking out her new doctor and clinic for her new Medicaid health insurance... She gets glasses too finally...

Under the electric blanket with a 1500 watt space heater on me. I didn't use to get cold very often. Plus I sleep a lot. This is probably the usual pre-checkout routine...

Naturally. I've gone through too much hell in my life to end up being cold all the damn time. I was bored so I set up a North Carolina Lottery account. That way I can buy lottery tickets without going outside. I can't control the outside but I can damn sure control the inside.
