You know me well. The Republics of Berkeley, Boston and Boulder. I remember hearing that when I was in my 20's. I've gotten more Liberal in my old age. I used to protest for animal rights, oil spills, mass killing of prairie dogs in Nucla, CO. I've broadened my horizons to include humans.

Like most far left liberals I'm sure there's absolutely nothing on Earth that you could possibly be wrong about. 😃

I was kind of Luke warm on that achromatic refractor but with a 2” eyepiece, low-power, wide-field under dark skies it’s cool as hell. I just spent more money than I should have on upgrading my telescopes but I don’t have a boat, haven’t been on vacation in 15 years, drive a used car, don’t drink…this is my only vice…well one of few. None of it matters. It’s not about astronomy per se. It’s about practicing peace outdoors at 3 in the morning and it’s blissful.
