Well, it is in the middle of nowhere.  Check out that road, straight as a drag strip, drunken speed runs anyone?
Middle of nowhere is prime real estate here. You would be shocked at what we pay for basic living conditions here.

Looked it up, near as I can tell from the map the 2023 snow totals for that area were around 240 inches.  Wow.

I liked Boston better when it was just Irish and Italian gangsters getting drunk and killing one another. Now it’s a shithole.
After I went to Canada last year, I had nightmares for a month.

The responsibility shifts depending on who you’re talking to.

Then why are trump and republicans trying to protect Clinton?  That is an odd thing for them to do.
Nah, both sides are gaslighting you. None of them will allow those files to surface.

It's the metric system!
I was raised on metric system, and I’ve got no clue what the 8 ball has to do with it.

The rest of the world is under the impression that the USA has some special obligation to feed and arm them while they repay us in hate.  Trump says what we all say.... America first. We do more, we get more.

I haven't noticed the government shutdown or whatever trade bullshit is going on with Canada. It's business ass usual. I wish there were some societal breakdown or martial law because then there wouldn't be any traffic.  Ghettos should be put under military policing. It is absurd that there are any unsafe areas in American society where you could become a victim of some predator. Trump's putting fear into law breakers. He's taking the fight to the narco-trafickers instead of just blathering about it. And it's working. It's all working. It's what the majority of us voted for.

When I was a kid, there was this bit called Evelyn Wood Speed-Reading and it would show some guy supposedly reading as fast as he could turn the page.  It was debunked by the fact that human beings actually have a very narrow field of useful vision and can only recognise something like five ordinary type written words in a line  and you have to visually register them. The rest is hypothesising based on context.

That kind of makes me want to come up with some scam like those guys on infomercials. Or if I had played my cards right, I could have had like a church and been a preacher of some sort that mesmerised the flock into giving up their loot. That seems to be a very popular and very lucrative career for those so inspired.

My dad had a curious take on tele-evangelists. My dad never expressed any interest or opinion on church or religion one way or another. But he said that guys like Jimmy Swaggert and Jim Bakker deserved to make millions of dollars a year. He pointed to the tv and said look at how happy those people are. They love this guy and he's entertaining them. He has thousands of employees, he's running a production company, a school, his church... He deserves to make as much as the head of a corporation that size. He's providing a product to millions of consumers. His shows run on hundreds of stations world-wide. The guy's global.

I thought that was an odd take on it.

I don't know why this is but no matter what I'm looking at on the computer, whether it's Google, MSN...ads for telescopes and power tools pop up...but not just any...it's like they read my mind. That kind of shit should be illegal. It's predatory. I just went through a pretty traumatic episode buying 82 degree eyepieces with money that could have been more responsibly spent and now they're hitting me with ads for their new line of 100 degree eyepieces that look like gleaming jewels. That's how these dirty bastards work. It's insidious. It makes El Chapo Guzman's crew look like the Campfire Girls.

I'd quit smoking dope for these.

...no I won't. I'll end up doing both and living under a pall of Catholic guilt for the rest of my days...but I'm doing that anyhow so fck it.

What I’m shooting for is an effect called “space walking”, where you can hit a really wide field at decent magnification, brightness and resolution that it freaks you out. Of course my wife doesn’t understand.
