The Canada situation is completely and utterly un-noticeable  here on the border with Canada. We are unaware of any change other than in the tone and quality of internet postings on the matter. But in a practical way, it is all theater...sorry...theatre.

So far, the tariff bit is mostly just talk...a negotiating tactic that will surely work because...well...the US is everyone's biggest and best trading partner. All that any of these countries have to do is to eliminate their trade barriers. There has been a tradition of America and Americans paying more and giving more because we produce more. That's fine....except that we don't owe anyone anything. If they want a fair and open trade relationship with the world's biggest economy, they need to align themselves with our values. If they hate us, hate our allies, hate our ideology, our religion, our culture....fck them. We are not obligated to do anything for anyone. No ever rushes to our assistance when there's a storm or fire.

Went to the ortho appointment yesterday morning about my right wrist and my torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder.. lady accidentally ran over me in the parking lot.. I went over the hood and landed hard... Dislocated my left shoulder.... And tore my left rotator cuff... Then she left... Parking lot cameras were not working because they said they were being "serviced" whatever that means... The ortho doctor came outside and they took me inside took x-rays and an MRI... I remember she was looking at her phone when she ran over me... She knew what she did she just got scared and kept going...

Well I quit smoking weed (READ: I ran out). I transferred the $100 I had budgeted for reefer and bought bitcoin.  I did find a bag of gummies in my desk drawer...grape...not my favorite. But I am committed to remaining clean and sober....so I will..um...dispose of the bag immediately...

...love me for my discipline.
