Now it’s snowing for real.

Only 4 months. Doable.

The hubby renewed our Costco membership. I haven’t been there in about 4 years. I couldn’t remember why. We went today and forgot the Black Friday deals are on. I bought one item (TP) and left. It was a fcking zoo gone wild. I just cannot handle crowds anymore. I was afraid I was going to throat punch strangers. I come from a fairly large city. I always loved the anonymity of it. Now I just want to be left alone. And to top it off some bitch refused to unblock the aisle with her cart. I asked nicely and she ignored me. I rammed her cart with mine to get through. That was uncalled for I know but enough is enough. Unfortunately for me I told the hubby they have entire lamb legs in the frozen dept. Now he is looking to see if he can get a meat saw at Amazon. I said ok but iI refuse to go back until New Year is done.

I miss walmart and such being open 24 hrs.  Come about 3 am I would near have the whole store to myself.  Makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience.   
First one in town came along right at the time I had 3 very young kids. Wait until about their bed time, toss them in the car, 3 miles up the road they are all snoring, pour their sleeping bods into a shopping buggy and get 'er done in blessed peace and quiet.

Though I was told, not long ago, that grocery stores are the hot hook up spot for old folks like me. 

Reckon I need a " Yes I am single" T shirt to shop in.

Looks like 6" of snow that does not meet my criteria for dragging the snow blower out of the barn.

Damn. We have to drive to the airport tomorrow morning. That is such a drag. Metro Airport is like the nexus of everything about modern life that I have rearranged my entire existence trying to avoid. And in two weeks, we have to go back when she comes home for Christmas until January. It costs a fortune even with not having to pay for any of the schooling or room and board. It's basically like me and the parents from maybe Greenwich Connecticut, the Kennedys, a bunch of foreign freaks....None of them are sweating it though.

Eventually all the furniture in this house will be made of scrap wood I picked up at job sites. It's so much easier than having to drive somewhere and deal with buying furniture.
