I could conceivably perform surgery on myself if the need arose. There's actually a defined mental illness among doctors that perform unnecessary surgeries on themselves. It's insane (literally). I saw one of those cop shows about it.

....He was named "Jock McClaren" after performing the surgery with a jack knife....before that he was Maury Cumstein.
