That was utter hell anyhow. I was trying to avoid construction and ended up semi-lost and turned around in my own neighborhood for an hour. And then when I got there, I couldn't manage the atm machine and the staff intervened in my melt-down and gave me my order for like half. So I gave them all the cash in my pockets as a tip. God bless those kind hearted hippies. They always treat me so well. They're the only ones...them and Gus.

Jesus Christ! I'm a psycho when I'm not stoned. Thank God that's over !

You have to show a driver's license at the door an they scan it before you get into the area where all the weed is. They probably share that with insurance companies, Medicare/Medicaid...if you're on probation....courts...lawyers

Interesting. I wondered if that was just local law or some company policy.

I don't do ID scans for any reason so it looks like I will still be getting it the old fashioned way.

It may be my imagination, but I swear 'illegal' weed is better. They know who you are, where you live, what you buy, where, when  and how often.  But they give you a ticket for a free hot dog.

If you're on probation and they're doing that randomly making you piss in a cup thing, you can bet your ass they're all over this shit too.

Not that I have much reason to be concerned now days but old habits die hard, it seems like the kind of thing that might be brought up in court one day. What you would call, hard evidence.

Oh wow. They are (finally) opening that new bridge to Canada down in Detroit. Thank God! I can't believe - The Ambassador Bridge - like the busiest international crossing in the Milky Way is PRIVATELY OWNED.... some Arab on Lakeshore. Can you believe that? It seems like that a national security thing.... You can't take trucks through the tunnel so it's all bridge...I don't know what it costs to cross. But it's lined up 24/7 in both directions.

Anyhow, They're opening that Gordie Howe Bridge. That's a fairly big deal.

I still feel like I'm kind of like I have to hide it.  I freak out when there's a cop behind me too and I haven't done much wrong in a long time.

In my particular situation, recreational is legal across the river, not legal here. If the scan is not shared with government you can bet they can access it.

I don't want that.

They could still claim that you are DUI and some places have a requirement that it be in the original container.

Here's what I have noticed. Google...along with everything else, is now not just a search engine as such. Everything is now "ai" as well. So Google, we can presume, is now many times more intrusive now than it already was. So among the trillions of querries, transactions, posts, like, porn, scams, whatever...there is ai at the center directing traffic and tapping phones. Kroger scans my card... they'd knw if I bought liquor and so would my insuraance company...or if I'm eating too much fat and have a family history of heart disease...or something like that.

I never have cash anymore, I haven't been in the inside of bank since before the pandemic. Tafic ams, 'Ring' doorbells....they track your cars, your phones..... wow.

That's why they need these data centers. It's the surveillance society. We are so far up dystopia's ass already. It happened fast and we weren't really paying attention. There's no going back.
