Coffee is so GD expensive.  I used to sell coffee to my customers by the pound, ground or whole for what I paid, which was wholesale. We'd weigh it on a grocer's scale with a giant dial that hung from a hook and packaged it in brown paper coffee bags and wrote the kind on the front with a pen.  We always gave everyone more. I also lost money on the fancy desserts, but they brought in the adults and the adults spent a shitload of money on the **** that had an almost criminal mark-up.

I used to like taking all the 20's out of the register and running across the street to this kind of trying-to-be upscale restaurant with a killer bar. I used to tip the **** out of everyone with the money I was stealing from myself, because why not? I stole it.  I would drink 'greyhounds' which are vodka and yellow grapefruit juice. I figured that was healthy.
