What, you really never heard that?  Shoot, we were the cool parents and still heard it often.  Locked and crying, that too.

We did evil stuff like when old oldest, 14 at the time, announced she had an 18 yo boyfriend.  We said OK, you can see him all you want, here at the house. He stopped by the house once and that was the end of that little rebellion.  No I didn't threaten him, hanging at my house was not something an 18 yo wants to do.  So he was out of the picture and was the bad guy. LOL

I heard my 5 year old (youngest daughter) tell me that I was fat and then put her hand over her mouth. I was in the thick of training for a Marathon and weighed 125 lbs and 5' 7 1/2". Maybe that day I was 127 lbs. She remembers saying that.
