We have plenty of laws, we just don't apply them equally. I am a proponent of 20 million dollars as a floor for any misconduct, then up from their depending on the details. Because that is a sum that will get attention and get issues addressed in a timely manner.
BTW, trump want to make it so police can't be arrested or sued, what's your thought's on that?
I think they should be able to be sued. As I mentioned above, NJ cops can be sued individually for violating one's constitutional rights.
They're going to have to know what the constitutional rights are in order to avoid a lawsuit. Makes for better cops.
I don't think there is much Trump can do about state and local jurisdictions. A bunch of bull.
