PLEASE everyone look up Article III of the US Constitution. It clearly states that Justices shall retain their offices "under good behavior" which is, yes, a potential life term. But this is not automatic and is dependent upon things like not committing crimes. Traditionally it has been a life term. But up until the last 25 years we didn't have a Court that redefined amendments, appointed presidents, vetoed laws, wrote new laws, or took bribes. They also didn't commit felony perjury during the job interview.."
