Eh, law is a tricky thing, slavery used to be legal. I lean more toward American moral truths, state marijuana laws and sanctuary cities were moving in the right direction.
Slavery needed an amendment to the constitution.
Being a federalist in thought, I don't mind state marijuana laws or sanctuary cities. Just sayin' that opened a door. There is no mention of immigration in the constitution. Only a court decision made it sorely a federal jurisdiction. Abortion became a state jurisdiction. Interesting.
