I see in Oregon they are re-criminalizing hard drugs. Allegedly because of overdoses. I think maybe because so many druggies were laying around on the sidewalks in front of businesses. Was bad for business. But it sounds better if you say it's because you're concerned about overdoses.

Or maybe because the big retailers are shutting down left, right and centre because of the out of control looting among other things.
