Am ready to strangle someone.  Insurance just called and said I have to take a 7:30 am appt or wait until Friday. So I had to take the 7:30

No way the contractor will agree to that, the roofers are due until Tues, and I can't put insurance off but it will be nothing but a dog and pony show, nothing will get resolved and that will put me back even farther.

I am not happy.   Unless the adjuster just throws a silly high number out it is hard to tell when this will get sorted.
