Well actually the same reason people all over the world, including places like Japan are not having kids anymore. It’s just too damn expensive. I’ve been following a lot of Japanese Youtubers and the way they describe their lives isn’t exactly heaven on earth. They aren’t even marrying as much. The standard of living seems to be coming down in the western industrialized countries. Hell man, I can’t even afford hamburger meat anymore. And to be honest with you, I don’t have kids for the same reason I couldn’t afford them even when I was making $50,000 a year at the post office that was not enough money for me support a wife and a kid and that was a 1996 and 1997. So this just doesn’t happen. It’s been sneaking up on us for a while. Every time I go to the grocery store, I see things I used to be able to buy, but can’t buy anymore. This is serious business. This ain’t no joke.  So in Japan also they simply can’t afford to have kids anymore.. which is the main reason why their birth rate is plummeting.
