Insurance is insanely expensive, they are always somehow justifying that, yet insurance companies are among the richest entities in human history.  I have a high deductible. I figure there's not a whole lot that can go wrong with a house like this that I can't fix myself.  I don't know how it breaks down but for 3 car and this little house, it's like $1200 every other month...7200 a year. That's crazy. On top of everything else we pay. It's no wonder no one can afford to save anymore.

You never think it will be your house on the TV news...  I sure stuck them this time, by the time it is all said and done, near double, maybe more, than what I paid for the house in the first place. But I am still out of pocket for some of it.
