They probably had the good sense to evacuate when the Roman cops told them too. If it wasn't for my grandfather being a draft-dodger, I wouldn't be here. Mussolini was trying to send him to Ethiopia so he moved to Detroit...I know...the irony...but Detroit was nice back then.
