"The New York Yankees are entering the 2025 season with a new look.

They have altered their longstanding facial hair policy, allowing players to now have "well-groomed" beards.

Yankees general managing partner Hal Steinbrenner announced the change in a post to social media on Friday. "


When I was a kid, all baseball players had to be clean cut - short hair, clean shaven. And when they were out in public when not playing, they were in jackets and ties.

We all know they were getting drunk and banging hookers but kids looked up to them so they behaved and looked like American heroes. Pluse they weren't all various incarnations of Black-o-mexicana.
