For some reason, I have my grandfathers' immigration papers... called "Declaration of Intention" I guess swearing allegiance to the US. Arrived 1922 aboard the ship "Colombo" from Naples. Race: "Italian" (LOL). There's a picture of him. Jesus. Real greaseball shit. Born in Laviano, Italy 1888.

My cousin got some discharge papers for my great great grandfather. Discharged at Harpers Ferry, of all places. Old documents can be interesting.
He was cavalry and fought at Gettysburg. I don't know if he was part of the Irish Brigade.
