mental illness would be an excuse. They're sick with hate.

They hate everyone and everything that doesn't march in lockstep with their myopic world view and then they have they bad taste and lack of insight to denounce them as "fascist", "nazi" and "racist".  They are as common and predictable as rats in a maze.
