Ok. Went to an audiologist yesterday. I was informed that I am legally deaf. I knew of course that I had a lot of problems hearing what people say. Especially on the telephone and on TV. I can hear sound but I can't make out the words. So they gave me hearing aids that cost $2,200 which the insurance paid. Next Wednesday I go back to the audiologist to get the hearing aids fitted for my ears. They should be back by then. So I'm legally deaf and I have one eye. Plus I'm having balance problems connected to the nerve damage in my back. Also on the 22nd of this month they're going to do surgery on my right arm for more nerve damage. Due to my constant high pain level the doctor increased the level of my pain medication. Also in the next few days a doctor is going to check for nerve damage in my left leg. This kind of doctor is a neurologist. They stick pins in your leg and fire electricity into it. The length of time it takes for the pain signals to reach your brain signals how much nerve damage a person has. It's actually kind of painful I had it from my right arm and that's how they determined I had nerve damage in my right arm. Aside from that I'm just fine.
