The Americans fckd the people of Berlin. They backed off and let the Russians march in and rape their cattle. If I had been a Nazi, I would have had the singular ambition of being taken prisoner by the Americans as soon as I got out of boot camp. And I would have stolen a car. The Nazis had awesome cars.
The Nazis did everything they could to be taken prisoner by the Americans. The alternative was the revenge lusting Russians. But... The Russians treated the Polish people much worse than the Russians got treated by the Germans..
