A lot of the diseases that kill cats are carried by raccoons.

If you're going to mix cats with raccoons go ahead and get your cats inoculated
most of these animals that get run over in the streets are looking for female companionship. The urge to procreate is a deadly impulse for some of them.

My racoon was taken away when I was a child. Today . It would not be so easy.
