Down here in my area it's apartment buildings and townhouses. There are a few subdivisions with the fancy waterfall entrances going up in the area, but it's mostly apartments/condos going up all over the place. The young folks can't be bothered with home maintenance.
BTW, I like your avatar. It would be hilarious if Trump wore the crown the South Koreans gave him at the state of the union address.
Down in Ft. Lauderdale, they build skyscrapers on the beach. I have no idea what is under that sand holding up the foundations. But it seems counter-intuitive. I got to live on the ground floor.
