Electronic media...our devices and screens and keyboards have changed the way we interact so dramatically and so rapidly that our abilities to adapt - physiologically, psychologically as animals - lags behind to greater or lesser degrees. It's left us scrambling and it's undermining the previous social structure. Good or bad...we'll see.
I hope it exposes the less evolved to enlightenment. But it is more likely just to magnify and exaggerate social dysphoria by allowing freaks and sociopaths to network and validate one another. Right now, the net effects of the internet and electronic media are negative. Although stunning progress has been made possible in science, medicine, industry, etc., the empowerment of evil has proved to be too great a price to pay for a bite from the fruit of the tree of knowledge. That's where we are...outside paradise, naked and afraid, waiting for God to visit wrath upon us.
