I just bought my wife a new iphone for Christmas. Now I hate her, Apple and Christmas and the thing hasn't even been delivered yet. These phones are emblematic with everything that has gone wrong with humanity.  I don't even carry mine anymore. It the cheapest version of whatever iphone was happening ten years ago. No one that I want to talk to or that actually has business with me is going to call me on the phone. I leave it in my desk drawer with the ringer muted. Every few days I erase all the calls and messages. Pretty much every single call and 80% of the texts I get are ads, political garbage or scams.  'smart phone' = 100% bullshit.
