One of the lasting changes that was precipitated by the pandemic, perhaps intentionally, was the virtual elimination of consumer banking. I haven't been inside a bank in 4 years and I rarely have any cash on me anymore.  Almost every transaction is done electronically. I don't think that's necessarily a good thing.
