We had propane here for a while and that was way more expensive than natural gas. It might have been 3 times as much. Judging from the looks of the floor in the basement here, they had an oil-fired furnace at one time. That must have been a nightmare.  Some of the hillbillies here have those outdoor 'pellet' stoves...Those seem like a bit much and inside wood stoves not only set you up for a lot of log handling but they destroy your respiratory system. Everything should be electric. They should be putting up nuke plants on every street corner. Screw those shitty electric cars.
