If you were or are dependent on some type of medical appliance...and I don't know what that would be... power outages would become a big deal.  I don't trust home generators because unless you regularly maintain them, they won't start, the field collapsed or they leak fuel or exhaust.  One time I was hired to clean out a burned-up house where some guy died  so it could be repaired. When I sorted through all the charred shit I found what looked like some kind of breathing apparatus. And in the closet there were a Detroit Fireman's uniforms, a fireman's helmet, some awards and statues of fireman related things.... Wow. The irony.  It made me wonder if it wasn't a really bizarre and sad suicide.
 Well...then....onward and upward!
